Overview

Something is brewing in the university district. Or, rather, it seems to be in danger? The city of Zurich and the institutions involved have a “Generation Project” carried out in the Zone Plans and exceedingly global square numbers a relatively high weight seem to carry. The recent in-depth studies for synthetic plan 2014 show only a few aerial photos or concrete model views the compressed volume triene. Abstracted street perspectives and diagrammatic plans indicate how difficult the visual communication of master plans is intended to represent potential consolidations in the coming decades.

For over ten years, employs the Canton of Zurich and numerous interest groups with the theme “Higher Education Area Zurich». Some professors of the Department of Architecture had already scattered opportunities to deal directly in the form of urban studies it.
